The DSC-S30 is Sony's entry-level Cyber-shot camera. Like all of the Cyber-shots, it uses a long-life InfoLithium battery for power and stores images on memory sticks. The camera's CCD sensor has a resolution of 1.3 megapixels (for 1,280 x 960 images), and built-in software interpolation can be used to boost the image to 1.6 megapixel
